How to grow Dragon Fruit - Planting Technique

การเลือกกิ่งที่จะมาปลูกนั้นสำคัญคือควรจะใช้กิ่งที่แก่หน่อยแล้วก็แข็งแรงแก่อย่างน้อยสามปีขึ้นไป กิ่งที่จะมาปลูกควรจะมีขนาด 80–125 เซนติเมตร

ขั้นตอนการปลูกสามารถปลูกได้ 2 แบบเป็นต้นว่า

1. ปลูกภายในกระถาง (Growing in the plant pot)

ใช้ต้นแก้วมังกร 1–2 ต้นต่อหนึ่งหลัก การปลูกเอาไว้ภายในกระถางเป็นการปลูกเพื่อไว้ประดับประดาหรือเป็นพืชที่มีความเป็นสิริมงคลแค่นั้น วิธีปลูกแก้วมังกร

Growing in the plant pot (using 1–2 branches per one pole) Growing in the plant pot is used for decoration only not for commercial purpose.


วัสดุอุปกรณ์ที่ต้องใช้สำหรับในการปลูก

ท่อน้ำทิ้งข้างในกลวงหน้ากว้าง4 นิ้ว ยาว 1.3 เมตร(หรือเสาไม้ก็ได้)
กระถางหน้ากว้าง 50 ซ.ม.
ค้างด้านบนอาจทำมาจากไม้หรือปูนเป็นรูป 4 เหลี่ยมจัตุรัส กว้าง x ยาว 30 ซ.ม
ขุยมะพร้าว
ดิน
เชือกฟาง
สกรูและน๊อต

แนวทางการปลูก

ใช้เสาตั้งเป็นหลักในกระถาง ยึดค้างไว้ด้านบนด้านสกรูหรือน้อต
ใส่ขุยมะพร้าวรองตูดกระถาง เพื่อน้ำถ่ายเทก้าวหน้าในอัตราส่วน1ใน3ของความจุกระถาง แล้วหลังจากนั้น
นำดินสำเร็จรูปผสมกับขุยมะพร้าวหรือแกลบดำ ใส่ลงไปในกระถางจนถึงขอบกระถาง
นำต้นแก้วมังกรมาปลูกให้ชิดกับเสาแล้วใช้เชือกฟางมัดต้นแก้วมังกรให้ชิดกับเสาไม่ต้อง(ผูกให้แน่นมากมาย ควรผูกไว้ตราบจนกระทั่งต้นแก้วมังกรจะเจริญวัยกระทั่งพ้นหัวเสา) การปลูกแก้วมังกร
แล้วหลังจากนั้นนำดินมากมายลบข้างบนของกระถางเพียงเท่านี้ก็เรียบร้อย


**ต้นแก้วมังกร เป็นสามเหลี่ยมแต่จะมีอยู่ด้านหนึ่งที่เป็นด้านแบน เพราะฉะนั้นเวลาผูกต้นแก้วมังกร ให้จับด้านแบนของต้นกับหลักเพราะเหตุว่าด้านแบนเป็นด้านที่จะออกราก

Needed equipment and materials

hollow cement water pipe with 1.3 meters long and 4 inches diameter(or wooden pole)
plant pot ½ meter diameter
wooden or cement shoulder square 30×30 cms
dry coconut flakes
Soil
Rope
Knots and screw

 
 

Growing procedure

set water pipe up in the pot ,attach the shoulder square on the top with screw and knot
put dry coconut flakes in the bottom of pot for 1/3 of the pot volume
full the rest with the soil mixed with coconut flakes.
plunge dragon fruit branch down around the water pipe, tie it with water pipe by using rope(don’t tie too tight)
top one more layer of soil in the pot.

Note: dragon fruit branch has 3 edge shape, the flattest side should be attached with the pole because that the climber root will come out from that side.

2. ปลูกแก้วมังกรในพื้นที่กว้าง (Growing on the Ground)

 - ใช้ต้นแก้วมังกร 4 ต้นต่อหนึ่งหลัก -
Growing on the ground in open area (using 4 branches per one pole)

 

อุปกรณ์ที่จำเป็นต้องใช้ในลัษณะของการปลูก

ท่อน้ำทิ้งภายในกลวงหน้ากว้าง6 นิ้ว ยาว 2 เมตร(หรือเสาไม้ก็ได้)
ค้างด้านบนบางทีอาจทำมาจากไม้หรือปูนเป็นรูป 4 เหลี่ยมสี่เหลี่ยมจัตุรัส กว้าง x ยาว 30 ซ.ม
ดิน
เชือกฟาง
สกรูแล้วก็น๊อต

 - ขั้นตอนการปลูก -
ใช้เสาท่อน้ำทิ้งภายในกลวง ตั้งเป็นหลัก
ขุดดินลึกลงไป 50 เซลเซียสม. แล้วต่อจากนั้นนำเสาฝั้งลงไป50เซนติเมตรเสาจะโผล่จากดิน150ซม.ตําเสาให้แน่นจับระดับน้ำทุกด้าน.
ฟันให้เป็นโขดรอบหลักลักษณะคล้ายฝาสำหรับปิดอาหาร แล้วก็นำต้นแก้วมังกร 4ต้น มาปลูกลง 4 ด้านของหลัก โดยใช้เชือกฟางมัดแบบหละหลวมๆต้องมัดจนกระทั่งจะพ้นหัวหลัก
แล้วหลังจากนั้นนำดินด้านข้างโขดมากมายลบบนต้นที่ปลูก แต่ว่าลักษณะยังคงเหมือนฝาปิดกับข้าว การทำโขดแบบฝาชี เผื่อให้น้ำสามารถไหลผ่านโดยไม่ขังอยู่ที่โคนต้น ซึ่งบางทีอาจเป็นต้นเหตุ กระตุ้นให้เกิดโรคโคนเน่า ประโยชน์แก้วมังกร
ใช้ฟางปิดรอบโขดเพียงเท่านี้ก็เสร็จเรียบร้อย



**ต้นแก้วมังกร เป็นสามเหลี่ยมแต่จะมีอยู่ด้านหนึ่งที่เป็นด้านแบน ดังนั้นเวลาผูกต้นแก้วมังกร ให้จับด้านแบนของต้นเข้ากับหลักด้วยเหตุว่าด้านแบนเป็นด้านที่จะออกราก ปลูกแก้วมังกร

 - hollow cement water pipe with 2 meters long and 6 inches diameter(or wooden
 - soil
 - Rope
 - wood square 30×30cm. Or cement squares
 - Knots and screw

Growing procedure

set water pipe up, attach the shoulder square on the top with screw and knot
dig the hole with 30 cms depth, stab half of 60 cms pine or bamboo stick in bottom of the hole and leave the other half point upward. insert water pipe in the hole by putting foundation pin inside the pipe. Add 1 bucket of cement inside.
add the soil around the pole like the upside down-bowl shape in order to avoid flood of water around the root and reduce spoil root problem
plunge dragon fruit branch down around the water pipe, tie it with water pipe by using rope(don’t tie too tight)
top one more layer of soil but still keep it in the same shape. Put rice straw on top.

Note: dragon fruit branch has 3 edge shape, the flattest side should be attached with the pole because that the climber root will come out from that side.
